Day 2

Subject: How to build a landing page to capture leads

Hi [firstname],

The first step to capturing leads is to make sure you have a landing page.

Here are some ways that can help you build a landing page for lead capture needs.

1. Know target market and the campaign goals

The question you must ask yourself before starting any goal is who the marketing is intended for. What are your major goals from the campaign? You can decide to direct the marketing to existing clients, or to the lead you already have in your email list. If the existing clients are your main target, then reengaging with new ideas should be your goal.

2. Create a reward that is relevant

The secret is to give your customers a reason to sign up and give their personal details. Since every person loves to be rewarded, free giveaways can work for your lead capture efforts. You can reward your customers with eBooks, newsletters, free courses, presentation or consultation among others. However, your targeted market group will help you determine what reward to give to capture the leads.

3. Create a good headline

Another important thing you can for your landing page is to make sure that the headline you choose remains relevant to that ad you are placing. Bad message match can be very costly and can rob you off very vital leads.

4. Write a convincing, descriptive and short intro paragraph

Your main goal is to make people understand what you are offering to them. The intro paragraph should highlight a sneak peak of what your visitors should expect. You can use bullet points if necessary for better clarity since they are easier to read or scan. They are also short and to the point.

Lead capture pages need a lot of work, however, they eventually pay off. These are some methods on how to build a landing page meant to capture valuable leads.
